I still really like Jude.
Cardan is a mega crapshoot. One moment I'm like he's okay, the next I'm like hell no Jude get away from him!

My brain cannot picture fairie in all it's imaginary goodness whatsoever. Hoping book three will get me there- but speaking of book three I knew a Queen was coming so SPOILER there I mean, I had it narrowed down to two people but then I was like okay so it will be person* after events happened. Then other events happened and again WTF Cardan what is your deal man?

Balekin hahahaha. Is all I will say there.

Madoc will be back I have no doubt about that. Totally not into his character anymore whatsoever but anyone on team Jude would also not be as well. And Jude and Cardan and all of Fairie will need to be ready for him when he does arrive.

I vaguely remember all the events of the first book going to have to see when I read that, but I believe I liked this one better maybe? Less blood and death in this one. Woot.

Orlagh was a disappointing character too. For a ruler of the Sea she wasn't nearly as bossy or entitled as one would believe her to be.
