All day was spent making phone calls and waiting for them back.

Also had a Drs apt that was supposed to be on computer and she wound up calling me. My computer is brand new and I did the test thing it said it worked so it must've been hers malfunctioning but whatever she called in my meds so I'm good. And my follow up isn't until the week before my Birthday! Woot. So that's awhile away then. Cool.

Yeah so, Surgery. All that anxiety was for nil. It's still on. And bright and early Monday morning I have to check in at 5:15 AM to the hospital so basically it will be done and over before I'm regularly waking up. Works for me. Then I can sleep all day- cept for them taking vitals. Plus making me eat. Then it is up to the Nurse on duty if Mom can spend the night we are hoping to force them into it because why should she have to drive all the way home and come back the next day when she is leaving and then bringing new germs the next day right? And I am so not ready to be left alone AGAIN. Not for a long time.

So yeah three nights of taking showers and wiping myself down with wipes and sticking q-tips of goo up my nose to prevent infections then showtime!

I got a little weepy leaving PT yesterday. Like I know I won't be gone for long it's just a change in my routine and I don't like it!

*hugs*. Good luck; I hope all goes well.

I never like disruption to my routine, either!

I remember going to PT for an ankle injury & my first day, which was evaluating my ankle for treatment, I remember crying & telling my mom I didn’t wanna go cuz I was afraid they’d mess up my ankle even more. I was in PT for 6 weeks, 3x a week & it was bittersweet leaving. I was excited to get on with my everyday life, but then I was sad to leave the new people I’d met & come to like.
Hopefully your mom can stay, since it sounds like you might live a ways out from the hospital. Hopefully your surgery goes good.
