WOW. 5 star review coming...

This book satisfied my meme requirement for "award winning fiction" in 2017 it was an Michael L. Printz Honor book. My copy even has the award on it BOOM.

So- the book.

WOW. WOW. WOW. I don't care that I'm 37 & 1/2 reading books classified Young Adult. I totally fell into this one hook line and sinker.

It is incredibly hard for me to discuss it without spoilers but the real spoiler is myself in not reading it for this long. I kept looking towards it yet thinking nah really does not sound like my thing, finally the entire series was on sale and it fit for the meme I am doing- why not I thought. Wow was I in for a life changer essentially.

I love the books that make you think, this one totally did that at the self gleaning I was like there is no way it's too soon and he wanted to help them there is just NO WAY this doesn't work out... Then when Citra began looking into it I was all protective that's my girl!! What I would have done were I ever in her situation, sometimes when I read I try to take on a character that I am most like...

In the very end when SPOILER wins I was very very very excited with the Scythe heritage name they chose. This book had me ALL OVER IT. And that was the Melissa kicker there. Not sure if recommend though some people would not be so fond of a book like this. The scythe's job is literally to KILL PEOPLE.

I totally cheered on the obliteration of team Goddard. I had had about enough of all of them even though Volta had had it and gleaned himself finally seeing that he could no longer carry on their ways. Like good for you pal but too little too late. Rowan took care of y'all BYE!
High Blade Xenocrates I was all no bro about the entire book even though Goddard was blackmailing him about his child Esme, like dude you're the freakin HIGH BLADE, discipline him as you see fit HOSS.

EEE go team you with over 100 books now?? I think I saw?? I loved it! And like I said in the review I kept shrugging my shoulders at it that it was not for me. See how judging something goes! Then it was in my hands I read it and wound up being a 5 star for me after all! So breathtaking really and the end OH MAN. I don't want to ruin it if you might read it but there was one thing SO MELISSAISH ABOUT IT I WAS LIKE DAMN.
